ABOUT ABA
History
The Albany Business Association (ABA) was formed in 2002/3 to represent the interests of businesses in the North Harbour Industrial Estate with the support of Enterprise North Shore.
Of primary concern at that time was crime prevention due to the high number of recurrent commercial burglaries being sustained by businesses in the area. This lead to the formation of the original business association Albany Basin Business Association ABBA.
A successful Crime Prevention Scheme was developed as the founding business service which significantly reduced crime in the area.
